Iranian university professor among world top 1% scientists

Thomson Reuters Corporation is one of the most prestigious scientific references for assessing international researchers and research journals which publishes a list of world top scientists annually.

Allahviranloo was placed on the list of the world top 1% scientists because of observing specific factors of the international scientific journals in his works and for referring to a high number of the world's scientific articles.

According to Allahviranloo, a total number of 207 Iranians are among world top 1% scientists.

Allahviranloo, 45, has a rich history of working as a high-profile mathematician. He headed the department of mathematics post graduate studies in science & research branch, (2005 - 2011).

He is also working with a number of different prestigious journals including the International Journal of Industrial Mathematics (IJIM) since 2009, Journal of fuzzy set valued analysis since 2011, Soft Computing (SOCO), Springer Verlag (2013-2014) and Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS) since 2012.

According to Scopus, Allahviranloo ranked first in the world in fuzzy differential equations in 2012.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, including the scientific journals, books and conference proceedings.
