
Iranian Embassy in South Korea announced that Iranian students won gold medals in the fields of technical engineering, new energies, chemistry, bioelectronics, civil engineering, architecture, neuroscience, astronomy and nanotechnology.
Besides clinching a gold medal in nanochemistry, Nazanin Barzin won the International Special Prize of the competitions.
Iranian students also had a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to South Korea Saeed Badamchi Shabestari. The envoy appreciated the students’ efforts and presented them with some awards.
The Expo-Sciences Asia (ESA) is a non-competitive regional science fair which has been held every other year since 2010. It aims to promote scientific culture among young people around the world through a scientific exhibition in a multi-cultural environment.
The programs of the ESA include the exhibition of scientific projects, cultural and scientific visits, leisure activities, workshops, animation, and conferences.
Organized by MILSET, Expo-Sciences Asia 2018 was held in Daejeon, South Korea, from October 18-23.
