Iranian, South Korean Nat'l libraries sign MoU

The MoU was signed on Friday by Shahram Yousefi Far from Iran National Library and head of South Korea National Library Lim Wun Sun in a ceremony attended by Ambassador of Iran to Seoul Hassan Taherian.

The two sides agreed to facilitate more access to information on the two countries' history, society, and culture.

According to the MoU, Iran Room will be established in South Korea National Library and South Korea Room will be opened in Iran National Library.

Making rooms for different countries in national libraries is part of bilateral cooperation between national libraries of the world.

In related news, Iran's new cultural attaché in Kuala Lumpur Ali Mohammad Sabeqi met with the head of Malaysia National Library Nafiseh bent Ahmed and discussed with her on more cooperation between the two countries national libraries.
