Directed by Reza Farahmand and produced by Morteza Shabani, the film will be screened in the competition section of Prague's film festival.

It has participated and shined in various international films festivals so far.

The event is slated to be held from January 15 to 26 in Prague, Brno (the Czech Republic) and the Slovakia capital of Bratislava.

‘Women with Gunpowder Earrings’ has recently won the main award of the 16th Signes de Nuit international film festival in France as well.

The documentary narrates the story of Noor Al Helli, an Iraqi female journalist, who covers events about Syrian and Iraqi women and children in the war against Daesh terrorists.
