Iranian delegation tours China Nat’l Radio and TV admin

Iranian delegation is in China to attend the second Forum on Belt and Road.

While visiting the staff working in Persian department of China Radio, Haddad-Adel said despite the emergence of new media Radio has not become retired yet.

Referring to development of encyclopedia writing movement in Iran after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he described the compilation of over 200 Persian encyclopedias over the past 40 years as a rich source for Persian-language media in the world.

The National Radio and Television Administration, formerly the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, is a ministry-level executive agency directly under the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

The second Belt and Road forum was held with the attendance of over 5,000 foreign guests from 137 countries, including 37 presidents and prime ministers and 150 ministers, on Thursday.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), also known as the One Belt One Road (OBOR) is a development strategy adopted by the Chinese government involving infrastructure development and investments in 152 countries and international organizations in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa.
