Iranian correspondent awarded Italy’s Marzani Prize

Masoumi Nejad is the correspondent of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in Rome.

Marzani Prize is awarded by a jury, comprised of journalists, university professors and politicians, to 11 Italian and foreign journalists, correspondents and authors.

In a catalogue distributed in the ceremony, Masoumi Nejad was introduced as a professional journalist of Iran’s state TV. It said that Masoumi nejad has published two books and written different articles on Iranian history, culture and civilization in the Italian language.

Marzani Prize is supported and financed by Italian Parliament and Foreign Ministry, as well as the European Commission.
