Iran, Ukraine sign scientific cooperation MoU

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the MoU was signed at Iran's Embassy in Kiev by Iranian officials and rector of the National Transport University Mykola Dmytrychenko.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Iranian Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammad Beheshti Monfared said Tehran and Kiev can expand their relations more than ever before and made some proposals on promotion of bilateral cooperation.

Dmytrychenko, for his part, said NTU is ready for cooperation with Iranian universities, scientific centers and executive organs and expressed willingness to travel to Tehran for talks with relevant Iranian officials in this regard.

After inking the MoU, the two sides explored ways of strengthening mutual cooperation in the fields of transportation, road building and urban projects.
