Imam Reza International University, located at Mashad, Khorasan-e Razavi will host the first international conference on religious education with the cooperation of science department of Imam Reza Holy Shrine, Ali Sarvari Majd, the secretary of the conference told reporters on Monday.

He said that a preparatory meeting for the conference was held in Lebanese capital, Beirut, last month and the second preparatory meeting will be held in Mashad.

The second preparatory meeting will be held on January 9-10 with the presence of Christian religious figures, the official added.
