Iran teenagers receive 13 medals in Malaysia

Iranian teenagers received five gold, six silver, and two bronze medals in the competitions that is a marketplace for invention and innovation.

The gold medal winners are as follow:
Arman Yusefian, Shahryar Tavoosi Tafreshi and Masoud Shafaghi for invention of nanofilter for water;
Amir-Reza Piri for disposable cell phone charger;
Mohammad Ahmadi Siahpoosh, Yasin Chamai Nejad and Hesamoddin Tohidastas for invention of a toilet with the ability to set the correct sitting angle;
Morteza Eskandarifor presenting an advanced bicycle with modern technology; and
Melika Mohammad-Salehi for invention of smart glasses.

More than 20 countries took part in the 28th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2017) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from May 11 to 13.

The show case aimed at bridging the gap between the incredible pace of scientific innovation and the society, and the commercialization of inventions and innovation, with the theme “Inventing for a Better World”.

Kuala Lumpur is welcoming more than 20 countries, such as Iran, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Poland, Egypt, Kuwait and Bahrain for staging their inventions.

The judges of the show case are 90 university professors from Malaysia.
