Iran, Syria sign document for campaign against terrorism, organized crimes

Syrian interior ministry delegation, led by Syrian deputy interior minister Khalid Abdullah Khezr, met and conferred with Iranian Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Disciplinary Affairs Hossein Zolfeqari .
The Syrian delegation arrived in Tehran on Monday to take part in the first joint working group meeting on security.
Zolfeqari told the Syrian party that Iran and Syria should fight extremism, terrorist groups, organized crimes, and adopt common regional and international stances.
Major General Khalid Abdullah Khezr for his part thanked Iran for supporting Syrian government and nation in fighting terrorist groups and praised Iran's stances in support for the oppressed countries and nations, especially Palestine.
