
During the meeting, Maleki admired active presence of Russia in Tehran International Book Fair and in the meantime presence of Iranian publishers in the Moscow International Book Fair.
He also referred to exchanging cultural delegations and holding commemoration ceremonies for the two countries’ distinguished figures and said that these events show the depth of bilateral relations.
The two officials underlined the importance of cooperation in various fields of science and culture including the translation and publication of books, establishment of exhibitions and use of opportunities in cyberspace.
Maleki and Grigoriev also conferred formation of a joint cultural committee and giving awards to the best book of the year published in the region.
Preparing the ground for cooperation between the Tehran-based 'Great Islamic Encyclopedia' and the 'Russian Orthodox Church' was also discussed in the meeting.
