Iran Parliament amends law against financial support for terrorism

The introduction of the amendment bill says the new bill is being presented since the law had some flaws, such as the necessity of recognizing terror crimes, and separation of known terrorist individuals or organizations from others falling into the category of financial support for terrorism.

Pursuing crimes of international organizations that don’t have an agency in Iran, defining the geographical boundaries for pursuing the crime of financial support for terrorism inside and outside the country, clarifying the instances of domestic and international terrorist individuals, groups and organizations by the Supreme National Security Council, etc. are among the reasons for amending the existing law.
