Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi, accompanied the Iranian minister during the visit.
In the meeting, the Iraqi minister expressed the hope that the current visit of the Iranian health minister would lead to clinching more deals and agreements in health sector between Iran and Iraq and Baghdad welcomes benefiting from Tehran's experiences in the field.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved remarkable development in health and pharmaceutical drugs and is now ahead of regional countries and to some extent even beyond top countries in the world, the Iraqi health minister said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is eager to put all its experiences in the field at the disposal of Iraq's health ministry, said the Iranian health minister.
The Islamic Republic of Iran under no circumstances will leave Iraq alone under hard time and is to spare no efforts in the field, he said.
Iran's health minister leading a delegation arrived in Baghdad at the invitation of his Iraqi counterpart.
A number of local officials and Majlis representative accompany health minister during the visit.
