Iran atomic energy chief visits Italy's nuclear medical center

Salehi is arrived in Rome at Italy's formal invitation to attend the 20th Edoardo Amaldi Conference (International Cooperation for Enhancing Nuclear Safety, Security, Safeguards and Non-Proliferation) which is an international conference on the development and safe use of nuclear power.

He visited the CNAO (National Centre of Oncological Hadrontherapy) center in Pavia, NW Italy. CNAO is a center for treatment of tumors.

Salehi is also scheduled to visit Italian Minister of Education, Universities and Research Valeria Fedeli.
