Iran Air Fleet flight continuing despite sanctions

Farzaneh Sharafbafi announced on the sidelines of the country's Third International Transport Exhibition, 'For the first time Airbus 321 aircraft after performing various flights on different internal and international routes was successfully overhauled by Iranian experts.'

The plane's overhaul lasted 11 days, she said.

'All of the technicians and engineers in this overhaul worked on the basis of the manufacturer's instructions, and the components needed for it had long been financed prior the American sanctions', Sharafbafi said.

Iran has been through sanctions for years, and now, despite restrictions and sanctions, Iran Air fleet can continue to fly in different directions, she recalled.
