ICAO secretary general: Iran's aviation status is improving

Majlis representative for Assyrian minorities Younaten Bot Kelia said on Sunday that during their visit to Canada, they met with ICAO secretary general on the current status of Iran's aviation and the latest achievements and updated standards in force in Iran's air transportation.
In the meeting, the ICAO secretary general voiced readiness for any type of cooperation with Iran in the sector, he said.
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, he said, adding that Iran asked the ICAO to shift its regional bureau from Cairo to Iran.
It was also agreed that ICAO secretary general, leading a delegation, to visit Iran.
