Head of ICRO confers with ex-president of Tanzania

In the meeting, the two sides underlined undeniable necessity of Islamic world unity to confront with enemies.
The two sides also discussed joint stances of Iran and Tanzania.
Turkman said, 'When you were president of Tanzania, you built close relations between Iran and Tanzania and now those friendly ties still exist.'
He said that ill-wishers want to sow discord among Islamic Umma and by creating extremism, Takfiri and terrorist trends are to make conspiracy against Islamic Umma and weakening Islamic world.
The head of ICRO said that in Mina incident past year many of pilgrims were martyred, but the Saudi Arabian government did not undertake responsibility, so it is necessary to find a way for protecting life of pilgrims.
Ali Hassan Mwinyi said that extremist and Takfiri trends are committing crimes against Muslims and all mankind, so Islamic Umma should cooperate and have planning for confrontation against such stances.
He called relations between Iran and Tanzania very positive and asked both sides' officials to develop such relations.
Iran's ambassador to Tanzania and cultural attaché of the embassy were present in the meeting as well.
