Farhadi's ‘The Salesman’ wins US National Society of Film Critics' award

Daughter of American playwright Arthur Miller, Rebecca Miller, presented the award to Farhadi during a ceremony held in New York.

Meanwhile, Farhadi’s drama “The Salesman” also has received a nomination in the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.

‘The Salesman’ narrates the story of a young couple who move into a new flat in the center of Tehran. But an incident linked to the previous tenant dramatically changes their life.

Farhdi's most well-known film, ‘A Separation’, won global recognition as becoming the first Iranian movie to win an Oscar at the 84th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
