Envoy condoles death of Turkish nationals in plane crash in SW Iran

The Iranian envoy also sympathized with the bereaved families of the victims. He said according to incoming news, several relief and rescue teams were dispatched to the site of crash despite adverse weather conditions immediately after the incident.

Turkish business jet carrying eight passengers and three crew members crashed into a mountain in central Iran on Sunday, killing all on board.

The plane was flying back to Istanbul from the Emirate of Sharjah. The plane was reportedly owned by Basaran Holding, a company active in construction and building luxury yachts.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication, the plane disappeared from radar at 14:40 hours and crashed.
