Ebtekar: Iran-Japan environment delegation to visit Ahvaz on Monday

Ebtekar said on Saturday in a special ceremony held for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries.

'Due to the importance of the issue, we believe that the next stage of cooperation should cover the entire region as this will help resolve issues in the Iranian territory mainly in Khuzestan province,' she said.

The delegations also examined formation of a special working group on waste management to generate electricity, Ebtekar added.

She went on to say that the electronic waste will be of prime importance and Japan has successful experience in the field which can share with Iran.
