SANA toured Damascus’ streets and interviewed a number of citizens who expressed confidence in the Syrian Arab army, asking God to have mercy on the souls of the martyrs who had fallen for the sake of the homeland and whose sacrifices paved the way for brighter secure future.
Ahmed al-Shehabi said that this great news gives hope that each and every inch of the Syrian territory will be liberated from terrorism.

The liberation of al-Ghouta, al-Hajar al-Aswad and al-Yarmouk Camp is a remarkable achievement with which Damascus and its Countryside close the last chapter of war against terrorism; and the eyes are now focused on cleansing other Syrian areas of terrorism and restoring security and stability to the entire land.
