Culture Min. congratulates Muslim counterparts on Eid-al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr starts when the new moon is spotted in the sky.

The Supreme Leader's Office announced earlier on Tuesday that according to the new moon sighting groups, the advent of the lunar month of Shaval is on Wedneday (June 6).

Jannati sent separate messages on the occassion to culture ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Senegal, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Tajikistan, Indonsia, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, and Kenya.

He extended best wishes to the ministers and hoped for progress of their countries and nations.

He also stressed the necessity of expansion of bilateral relations with those nations.
