Cinema artists head to France

Iranian internationally acclaimed film director Abbas Kiarostami died in a Paris hospital on July 4. His body is to be transferred to Iran for burial ceremonies.

A workgroup has been formed in Khaneh Cinema to transfer Abbas Kiarostami's body to Iran. It has been reported that the transfer takes some time owing to red tape.

International media and prominent figures of cinema have extensively reacted to the death of acclaimed Iranian film maker Abbas Kiarostami.
