Big fire demolishes Tehran trade center

The fire started in the seventeen-storey business building in the early hours today, despite efforts by Tehran firefighters to stop it.

A center for making apparel, the Plasco center soon was engulfed in a big fire that finally caused the collapse of a wall in the building's northern side and its finnal total collapse.

There are no confirmed reports so far about the number of deaths and injuries.

The Plasco Trade Center is located in Jomhoori Avenue in central Tehran.
