Belarusian woman converts to Islam in Imam Reza shrine

Hashemi-nejad said that Olga Ostovich from Belarus is studying foreign languages.

She had visited Iran twice and one time visited the holy shrine of Imam Reza and got acquainted with Iran's religious culture and became interested in.

The 26-year woman had learned Arabic language and was able to read holy Quran and her friendship with Muslim interested her to convert to Islam.

Hashemi-nejad said 2.5 million non-Iranian pilgrims had visited the holy shrine last year and from this amount 11,000 tourists were non-Muslim from European, Asian and American countries.

He concluded that 30 persons converted to Islam last year here in the holy shrine.
