Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA – Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani was hospitalized in a state-run hospital in the Iranian capital on Sunday due to heart attack, an informed official said on Sunday.

Deputy Health Minister Mohammad Aghajani told IRNA that doctors are looking into Ayatollah Rafsanjani's health.
