Austrian Airlines said it canceled its service to the Iranian cities, starting in September, according to the airline trade website Aviation Tribune. Austrian Airlines will, however, continue its service to Tehran.
Austrian Airlines, which is owned by the giant German airline company Lufthansa, also announced that based on its new policies, it will also cancel flights between Austria and certain cities in the US, Hong Kong, Cuba and Sri Lanka.
Austrian Airlines flights to Shiraz and Isfahan were established in the summer of 2017.
