Artworks shipment, false claim: Minister

“Sending the artworks of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art treasury section to the galleries outside Iran is not on the Ministry’s agenda,” said Reza Salehi Amiri, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

“I have always stressed upon not sending theses artworks to the-outside-Iran galleries since the beginning of my taking charge of this Ministry,” Salehi Amiri added.

Some media had announced of sending the artworks of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art to galleries abroad by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
