Armed terrorist killed in southeastern Iran

In the wake of the assassination of a police officer in the city of Iranshahr on April 1, special patrolling has started in the region, Police Commander of Sistan and Baluchestan Province Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Friday.

After two-week investigations, two criminals were detected, one of whom was killed and the other one was arrested, he said.

Rahimi went on to say that the outlaws have also committed various crimes like robbery, mugging, kidnapping, illegal carrying of weapons and narcotics, etc.

Some weapons were also confiscated, he added.
