34th Iran’s Book of Year Award Ceremony kicks off in Tehran

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi Amiri and his deputy for cultural affairs and a group of authors and publishers took part in the event which is underway in Tehran.

11 top works and 40 worthy of appreciation have been elected for Iran’s book award and 10 top ones for the World Award for Book of the Year of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

2,500 reviewers judged 6,000 books in the 33rd round of the event.

Iran’s book of the year award having 34 years of experience is regarded as the most important and the biggest award in Iran and the Middle East.
