22%-growth of foreign tourists in Kermanshah profitable

Tourism Deputy of the Administration of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Kermanshah Province Alireza Moradi Bistuni referred to 22%-growth in the number of foreign tourists visiting the province in the first half of current Iranian calendar year (beginning on March 20, 2016).

He said that 7,846 foreign tourists visited Kermanshah in the first half of the previous Iranian year while the number amounted to about 10,000 people this year.

The official said that tourists visited historical and cultural sites including Taq Bostan, Behistun Inscription, Temple of Anahita, Sarab-e Nilufar, and 12 active museums of the province.
