The MoU was signed following two-day meeting of around 50 foreign envoys in Hamadan for trans-national event of Hamadan 2018.

Based on the MoU, the strategic, scientific and research plan between Global Silk Road Cities Forum and Hamadan Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture, Industry and mine will be implemented.

Establishment of Hamadan 2018 secretariat, compilation of tourism outlook for the province, formation of joint tourism network of member states of World Tourism Forum, promotion of capacity and management of travel destination, facilitation of easy travel in conformity with the world tourism programs were among contents of the MoU.

Hamadan was elected as the Tourism Capital in Asia', hencee hosting ambassadors from 28 countries and tens of foreign representatives.
