16 stowaways arrested at Iran borders

Fourteen of the stowaways were hidden in trucks that were x-rayed and two of them in a transit load of copper sulfate going from Uzbekistan to Turkey.

In the first two months of the Iranian year (starting on March 21), cases of human trafficking discovered in Iran reached 89.

After the border points were equipped with advanced control devices two years ago, the discovered cases of human trafficking have grown drastically, reaching 550.
