100,000 Kuwaitis visited Iran in 2017: Envoy

Addressing a ceremony marking the 56th founding anniversary of Iran Air on Friday, he added that Iran and Kuwait have brotherly relations.

Commercial airliner companies are playing a crucial role in materialization of the global village and shortening distances between the nations, he said.

Iran's religious and health tourism attracts thousands from around the world each year, the ambassador said.

Enayati also called on the Kuwaiti media to focus on Iran's tourism as a link among the nations, and reminded that the city of Tabriz in Iran was selected as the capital of Islamic tourism thanks to its rich culture and tourism attractions.
