Zarif attends ECFR meeting in Rome

Zarif arrived in Rome earlier today after ending his visit to Berlin, Germany.

In Rome, Zarif is to hold talks with his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano and other senior officials in that country.

The talks will focus on issues of mutual interests as well as international and regional questions, Syrian crisis in particular.

Italy has been among Iran’s major trade partners in recent decades.
