According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Qasemi pointed to current developments in Yemen and intensified deteriorating of humanitarian conditions, adding that Yemeni people are facing a very hard situation.
Referring to the outbreak of different illnesses, especially cholera, in Yemen, Qasemi called on the international community and organizations to increase their efforts for humanitarian aids to the country.
He pointed to lack of necessary interest to resume political talks, and called for serious moves by the international community to persuade all political groups to hold talks.
The spokesman underlined the sole solution for the current situation in Yemen is political mechanisms through holding dialogue among all political groups and formation of a comprehensive government.
Saudi Arabia accompanied with several other countries have surrendered Yemen by air, sea and land since March 2015 to return resigned President of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi to power.
The military invasion against Yemen has left over 12,000 civilians dead, tens of thousand injured as well as millions of refugees and demolished infrastructure of Yemen.
