“It is a noteworthy point and also unbelievable that the US President [Donald Trump] said in public how much money he had received from the Saudi government to accept to take part in the [Arab leaders] meeting in Riyadh, Larijani said at Majlis open session on Tuesday referring to the presence of the US president in a meeting a few days ago participated by a large number of the Arab leaders in the Saudi capital.
In his first overseas trip as the US president, Trump visited Saudi Arabia on May 20-22.
“Americans announced Riyadh the fighting center for terrorism and that was a truly right since it is the exporting center of terrorism,” Larijani added.
“If the US succeeds preventing the delivery of fund, weaponry, and armed men from Saudi Arabia to other places, then there will be no more incidents like the explosion of the twin towers in New York (9/11) or injuring and murdering thousands of innocent people in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon,” he further said.
“Do not put so much blame on Pakistan, since Taliban was the product of a triangular collaboration upon which formation of Taliban was designed and directed by the US and the Britain, funded by the Saudis and Emiratis and carried out by Pakistan,” said Larijan when asked why Pakistan created Taliban.
“This is a clear historical fact that the Saudi government has always been involved in wars and terror since its outset. It was in war with Arab Muslims. Saudis never shoot a single bullet to the Zionists,” he noticed referring to the Egyptian murdered officers and soldiers by the Saudis during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Larijani also made a reference to the Saudis’ fight against the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and other sufferings inflicted on the Sunni society by the Saudis.
“The Saudi regime attacked Yemen many times and murdered the people of this country with unfounded pretext, but never was once ready to sacrifice and do anything for the fight against the Zionists,” he said.
“It has been nearly around 60 years the Saudi government been expanding Wahhabism, an ideology of hostility neither approved by the Sunnis nor others, throughout the world in the name of expanding Islam trying to isolate Al-Azhar, the Sunnis’ deeper and more moderate think-tank center,” he said.
Larijani added that Iranians are expanding democracy in the region through elections and ballot boxes, but the regional Arab states “do not even let the women drive, do not have constitution, do not have elections and now make claims against Iran?” he addressed Arab States referring to their fear of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a role model of a free country governed by its people votes.
“It is a shame for a Muslim country to publish the US’s voice to call two resistance groups (Hezbollah and Hamas), which made efforts to fight against the Zionist regime, terrorist groups. Suppose you have blind hatred toward Shia, it should be shame for Hamas is a Sunni group fighting against the Zionists,” he added.
Referring to the Saudi King claims that Iran interferes in internal affairs of other countries in the region, Larijani said, “Do you find any invasion form Iran against other country? Was it not you who provoked Saddam Hussein to invade Iran and later offered your regret about 40$ billion fund you had given to him? But when Saddam invaded Kuwait, we were by your side and helped the Kuwaiti people and government against Saddam.”
“We have no problem with any neighboring country and even no intention of hostility with the Saudis; however, this is you who have provoked blatant and hidden hostility and sent messages to the former US President to behead the dragon which you meant Iran by that,” Majlis Speaker said.
Stressing that Iran opposed certain Arab states “supports for the murderer terrorists,” Larijani said Tehran “believes that it is a shame for a Muslim country to help the Zionists and have intelligence co-ops with them during the 33-day Zionist regime’s imposed war on Lebanon.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is against the Saudis’ warmongering in Yemen and considers it an example of genocide; of course Iran also opposes deploying military forces in Bahrain particularly the recent flagrant measures done regarding Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim,” said the speaker referring to Bahrain's leading Shia cleric and politician who has been stripped by Bahraini officials of his citizenship on June 20, 2016.
