Iranian and Slovak ministers signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in a Saturday meeting, and stressed cooperation in the fields of cinema, book and visual arts.
Speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Salehi Amiri said that Slovakia Minister’s trip to Iran is a prelude for reinforcing political, economic and cultural ties.
The articles of the MoU consist of holding cultural week, active presence in book and art exhibitions as well as cooperation on cinema and cultural diplomacy.
'Slovakia was the first country which signed MoU with Iran after the implementation of the nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),' he said.
Slovak culture minister, for his part, voiced his country's interest in taking advantage of Iran's experiences in different fields.
