Iran to attend West Asia Baseball Cup in Pakistan

The tournament will be played at Pakistan Sports Club in Islamabad.

Iran, India, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan are participating in the tournament.

The 12th West Asia Baseball Cup was also held in Pakistan way back in February 2015 in which Pakistan stood first while Iran gained the second position.

Though Pakistan is the reigning champion of the West Asia Baseball Cup but it is expected to face tough fight on part of Iran and Sri Lanka who are considered strong teams.

Strict security arrangements would be in force for the security of the players and officials.
