Romania Muslim Community extends condolences on Plasco inferno

Murat Yusuf atteded Iran's embassy in Romania on Friday to sign the memorial book for the martyred firefighters of the sad occasion.

'I asked Friday Prayers Leaders of Romanian mosques to pray for their departed souls to rest in peace,' Yusuf said during his meeting with Iranian ambassador to Romania Hamid Moayer.

According to Spokesman of Tehran Fire Department Jalaleddin Maleki, the total number of martyred firefighter has increased to 16.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.

Plasco, built in 1962, was the first high-rise building in the Iranian capital.
