Pakistani scholar calls for liberation of 'Haramain Sharifain'

Expressing his views at a seminar in Islamabad organized by Cultural Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the first anniversary of Mina disaster, Saqib Akbar, the chairman Albasirah Trust, strongly believed that a committee should be formed to investigate the Mina disaster and fix the responsibility on those who are found guilty.

The intellectual said that last year, thousands of Hajjis of many countries including, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey lost their lives due to mismanagement of Hajj affairs by the Saudi government.

The scholar went on to say that Mina tragedy is clear evidence that Saudi government cannot mange Hajj affairs properly so a committee should be formed comprising of representatives of Muslim countries to organize the Hajj ceremony.

He said that Saudi government should know that Hajj cannot become a political event by raising strong voice against enemies of Islam. He said that raising voice against aggression is the basic message of Hajj.

He claimed that this year a Zionist Regime’s company has been assigned with the responsibility to provide security to Hajjis which is quite shameful. He said that Saudi government is incapable of providing security to Hajjis.

“We have always talked about liberation of Al-Quds from Zionists and you have given the control of Haramain Sharifain to them,” he said.

“Now we want liberation of Haramain Sharifain from the control of imperialist forces and the agents of the Zionists too,” the scholar said.

Saqib Akbar strongly condemned the statement of Saudi grand mufti calling upon Iranians as non-Muslims saying that how descendants of Abu Jahl can call successors of Prophet Muhammad as non-Muslims.
