Iran, Poland sign health cooperation document

The Memorandum of Understanding inked between the two countries underlines development of cooperation between Iran and Poland in fields of healthcare, pharmacy and medical equipment, education and medical research.

Iranian health minister wrapped up his two-day visit to Finland and arrived in Poland on Thursday.

The health minister had also a meeting with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development top officials and visited the Polish drug manufacturer Bioton during the trip.

Polish officials thanked Iranian people for their support of Polish refugees during the Second World War and gave Iranian visiting team a wreath of flowers.

The health minister is also expected to attend a forum on Iran-Poland investment opportunities.
