
Deputy Head of East Azarbaijan Culture and Islamic Guidance Department Ali Moharrami told reporters Saturday that films from Spain, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Hungary, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Poland, Greece, Italy, Finland, Britain and Bulgaria will go on screen in Tabriz.
The films include a Swedish comedy-drama film ‘A Man Called Ove’ directed by Hannes Holm, ‘Eternal Winter’ directed by Attila Szasz from Hungary, ‘Boy Eating Bird Food’ directed by Ektoras Lygizos, Greece, ‘Breathe’ directed by Andy Serkis, Britain, ‘A Fortunate Man’ by Bille August, Denmark, ‘Smuggling Hendrix’ directed Marios Piperides, Cyprus, ‘The Silent Army’ by Jean van de Velde, the Netherlands, ‘Tree’ by Sonja Prosenc, Slovenia, he said.
‘The Dark Valley’ directed by Andreas Prochaska, Austria, ‘More than Honey’ directed by Markus Imhoof, Switzerland and ‘Black Bread’ by Agusti Villaronga, Spain, are also among the European films to be screened in Tabriz until June 17.
