In a meeting ith wthe newly-appointed minister, he congratulated Fneish on his appointment as Lebabnon’s sports minister and invited him to visit Tehran and he welcomed it.

The visit will take place following the fasting month of Ramadan when the two countries’ sports ministers are to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Tehran.

Earlier, Firouz-Nia also explored avenues for promoting defense cooperation between the two countries with the country’s Lebanese Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab on Monday.
