Congratulating Bou Saab on his appointment as Lebanese defense minister, he underlined Iran’s principled policy of boosting the country’s security against the threats, and voiced Iran’s readiness for developing mutual defense collaboration.
“We are ready for cooperation in any area the Lebanese government and army see appropriate,” he said.
Lebanese defense minister, for his part, appreciated Iran’s supports for his country’s government and people against the Zionist regime’s aggressions and stressed the need for keeping up contacts and consultations on cooperation in various fields.
