Boroujerdi said that the Organization of the National Library and Archives is a combination of the National Library and the Document Center, and these two were merged in 2003, adding, 'One of the missions defined for the organization is that the organization includes Iranian national memory. So all of our efforts are to gather Iran's documents and resources as much as we can, and put it at the disposal of thinkers and researchers, and various exhibitions will be presented to make this happen.'
The director of the National Library and Archives of Iran stated, 'Another mission of the organization is the effort to produce science. Therefore, the National Library and Archives Organization is a central forum for the exchange of scholars.'
She said the recognition of the culture of other countries could be a great opportunity for the clients of the organization emphasizing that a number of people will come to the organization of the National Library and Archives on a daily basis where the rooms belonging to different countries, such as South Korea, are launched in the library.
Boroujerdi emphasized that culture can be the most important diplomacy for countries and play a role in exchanges between countries, because the most important differences between humans are lack of dialogue, but culture is a good opportunity for dialogue.
Danish Ambassador to Iran Danny Annan said with the explanations provided, the opportunities for cooperation have become more prominent and stated, 'During the past years, I have had a history of presence in five countries, but I did not see any country like Iran that cares about literature and history, and today it became clearer with your description.'
