Head of Iran-China Parliamentary Friendship Group Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in a meeting with Chinese ambassador to Tehran on Monday.
Relations between Tehran and Beijing is at satisfactory level after triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Boroujeridi said adding expansion of parliamentary cooperation plays a leading role in expansion of all out relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Iran's Majlis vows to broaden friendly ties and cooperation with China, Boroujerdi said.
Iran has enough capability in various economic, political, cultural and parliamentary sectors to help broaden and deepen relations and cooperation between the two countries, he added.
Presently ties and cooperation between Iran and China will be to the benefit of both countries, mainly at this sensitive juncture where the US administration is to exert more pressure on the whole world and is to promote unilateralism in attaining its goals, Boroujerdi said.
Iran and China with resort to new methods can increase volume of trade exchange between the two sides, he said.
Given to regional developments and Iran's status, he said the Islamic Republic of Iran as a big country in one of the most sensitive regions in the world which has access to central Asia and is ready to welcome joint investment opportunity with China.
Chinese ambassador to Tehran, for his part, referred to deeply rooted ties between the two countries and welcomed expansion of cooperation, mainly in investment sector.
China believes that expansion of all-out relations with Iran will be to the benefit of both countries, said Chinese ambassador.
