Salehi-Amiri during his meeting with Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah appreciated OCA's constructive cooperation with Iran National Olympic Committee.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah expressed OCA's willingness to support Iranian National Olympic Committee in developing, supplying and renovating sport equipments.
Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah also referred to the reason behind granting hosting of the Asian Games to Indonesia, saying OCA follows to achieve cultural and developmental goals as well.
He also vowed to pave the grounds for holding OCA executive committee meeting in the Kish Island, southern Iran.
The 2018 Asian Games, officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta Palembang 2018, is a pan-Asian multi-sport event which is underway in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
For the first time, the Asian Games are being co-hosted in two cities; the Indonesian capital of Jakarta (which is hosting the Games for the first time since 1962), and Palembang, the capital of the South Sumatra Province.
