'The 58-year-old gold coin dealer used to feel free to do business in Tehran's gold coins market,' Hossein Rahimi said.
'In 2016 he managed to buy and collect two tons of gold coins and sell them at any price he favored,' Rahimi said.
Mostafa Kavakebian Representative of Tehran at Iran's Majlis (Parliament), reacting to the news, called on the judiciary system to deal with the case of the lord of coins as soon as possible.
'We have been informed that the lord of coins has been arrested,' Kavakebian said.
'We are looking forward to seeing how the country's judicial apparatus is going to address the issue,' he said.
