The Zionist regime which owns arsenals of prohibited weapons poses a threat to international security, Brigadier General Amir Hatami said in a message released on the occasion of the 31th anniversary of Sardasht chemical attack.
He referred to the Zioinist regime and certain Western and Arab countries' support for terrorist groups and warned about the danger of chemical terrorism.
The defense minister criticized the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons for its politically motivated approach and expressed concern about the US violation of its obligations under the Convention on Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction.
Hatami voiced concern about the access of terrorist organizations like Daesh (ISIS) and the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) to American chemical weapons.
